FAQs

Theralogica

Have a wellness-related question? We have the answer! Check out our FAQs below to learn more about our company and services.

  • Are sessions in person, online, or both?

I offer both in-person sessions at my office and virtual sessions through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, allowing you to work with a licensed therapist in the format that best fits your needs and schedule.
  • Do you accept insurance?

I accept select insurance providers. If I am not in-network with your insurance, I offer cash pay or sliding scale options to make mental health counseling and other services accessible based on proof of income.
  • What can I expect in my first session?

The first session with a psychologist focuses on understanding your concerns, reviewing your history, and discussing your therapy goals. It's also a chance for us to determine if we are a good fit.
  • How long are therapy sessions?

Standard session is 45-55 minutes, but can vary depending on the client and need. If your therapy involves topics such as sex therapy, the session length can be adjusted to provide the most effective support.
  • How often will we meet?

Most clients meet weekly or bi-weekly, depending on their needs and goals. As a licensed therapist, I will work with you to create a schedule that fits best with your therapy plan.
  • Is everything we discuss confidential?

Yes. Sessions with a licensed therapist are confidential under HIPAA guidelines, with a few legal exceptions for safety concerns that we will review together.
  • How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can benefit anyone looking for support, clarity, or personal growth. If you're unsure, a consultation with a licensed therapist at Theralogica can help determine if it feels like a good fit for you.
  • How do I get started?

You can schedule a session directly through the website, call the office, or submit a contact form. A licensed therapist from our team will follow up with you to discuss next steps and availability.
